NA focuses its work on conflict affected youth and women and mobilizes them in various peace building initiatives. The aim is to create safety nets for conflict affected youths and women who are transformed so that they can be community level peace-builders. This motivates district level organizations to make peace central to their work through the creation of “Sahakarya Shantiko Network” (A Joint Initiative for Peace).  ruwduc

RURAL WOMEN’S DEVELOPMENT AND UNITY CENTER (RUWDUC)

RUWDUC was established in April 1995 by a group of women from the Far Western Development Region of Nepal.  RUWDUC came to life with the belief that appropriate motivation and training to women and youth groups could turn them into important catalysts and facilitators in the development of the communities and the region as a whole. Its programmes therefore target community women and youth, as its members strongly believe that the role of these two important groups has been overlooked, particularly in the development process of the Far West and other parts of the country.
