Sankalpa, through its member organizations and in coordination with Natural Disaster and Rescue Committee, supported flood and landslides-affected women and children living in most-affected districts, namely, Siraha, Saptari, Udayapur, Mahottari, Banke, Kailali, Bardiya, Jhapa, Sunsari, Morang, Dhanusha, Rautahat, Lalitpur, and Makwanpur. As many as 2,600 flood-affected women and girls from 14 affected districts were supported with shawls and food items.

Sankalpa also provided relief materials like tarpaulins, mosquito nets, towels, mattresses to landslide-affected women of Chepang community of Makwanpur district through ‘Nepal Chepang Women Association’
